 Jacqueline Holdsworth

A wonderful new Quaker Sampler has been released. The Beatrix Potter’s Quaker Sampler has come to us through the efforts of Jacqueline Holdsworth at Needleprint in the U.K. You might recall that Jacqueline is the talent who brought us the Ackworth School Pattern Book and Engagement Calendar.

It was originally thought that Beatrix Potter had purchased the original sampler from Ackworth, however no trace of the particular initials could be found in the school’s scholars lists. Therefore, it is assumed that the sampler was worked at some other Quaker School.

Stitched on 32ct linen, the sampler will measure approximately 17" x 19" and is done in one colour.
